We rested at Högsåra anchorage for a whole day. The kids tested the dingy and rowed to buy groceries from the shore. We had still 3 days to get to Helsinki and to work.
Sauna feels fantastic after a few days of sailing and washing in the cold sea. We hadn't had anything better than a shower since England. In Sweden people looked at us puzzled when we hopefully asked if they have a sauna in the marina. They hadn't. Not even in Visby.
On Friday we sailed to Hanko marina where asking for a sauna was the most natural thing in the world. "Itämeren Portti" is a busy marina and we had seen a similar selection of large yachts only in Visby. Private sauna turns were all reserved so we divided between the men's and women's saunas. It was crowded but delicious. This is was the smiley face must feel all the time.
